The app for visiting Venice

Do you wish to visit Venice without getting lost and optimizing your time?

Download the free app "Ecco Venezia" from the App Store and Google Play and choose the routes you like the most.
Thanks to the GPS connected to the system, you can check the route and your location in the city on the available maps.
The most important points of interest are marked on each route.

 

We suggest you the following routes:


1. Venice “Classic”
Leave St Mark Square and walk through the area of La Fenice Theater until Rialto Bridge. Then walk to the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari (paintings by Tiziano, Bellini, Donatello) and to the Scuola Grande Di San Rocco (paintings by Tintoretto). Go back through San Tomà.

 

For this itinerary it is required to download the following routes in order:

  • S.Zaccaria –S.Marco
  • S.Marco – Fenice – Rialto
  • Rialto – S.Stae – Frari - S.Tomà

2. Venice and the lagoon
Leaving from Punta Sabbioni you can get to the most important islands of the lagoon (Burano – Torcello – Murano) or reach Venice (F.te Nove). The itinerary takes to the Ghetto and then to San Rocco, the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, Rialto, St Mark Square. Here take the boat back to Punta Sabbioni.

 

For this itinerary it is required to download the following routes in order:

 

  • F.te Nove – Ghetto
  • P.le Roma – Ghetto
  • P.le Roma – Rialto
  • Rialto – Fenice – San Marco
  • San Zaccaria – San Marco.
