The route starts in Treporti and heads north along secondary roads that run alongside salt banks, small canals and stretches of water.
On the way, the landscape changes pace: migratory birds, fishing valleys and crops tell of an ancient balance between human activity and nature. You will pass through the villages of Saccagnana and Mesole until you reach Lio Piccolo, a small lagoon village dating back to Roman times.
