Venice and its origins
Ideal for those who want to cycle away from traffic and discover the greener side of Jesolo. It runs alongside the Piave and through the countryside, offering shade from the trees.
The route is very impressive, because it rides alongside the Piave river, offering the sensation of riding “inside” the landscape.
Starting from Cortellazzo, a small fishing village near the river’s mouth, it leads to the north-west of Jesolo, away from traffic and coastal noise.
The itinerary can be practiced even in the middle of Summer, as the left bank of the Piave river offers a cool shelter from the sun, thanks to the trees with their green foliage.
The route winds past orchards, vineyards and cultivated fields, making it the perfect way to take in the variety of local produce and enjoy a leisurely cycle through the countryside, surrounded by greenery and fresh air.
