The coast has also been awarded the “Green Flag” by the Order of Pediatricians, as a “safe beach” and suitable for children.

Jesolo is not a beach suitable exclusively for children: it is much loved by young people for its many attractions, by the elderly and by people with mobility problems due to the easy accessibility of almost the entire coast and also by animal lovers, who can choose here between 3 beaches where you can spend a day at the beach in the company of four-legged friends.

Hotels and campsites in Jesolo

As evidence of the ancient link between Jesolo and tourism, there is the discovery of the first hotel in the town, dating back to Roman times: excavations are still in progress, but so far a series of similar environments have been brought to light, all of them equipped with a space to sleep in and a rudimentary kitchen.

In the years between the two world wars, thanks to the reclamation works, a strong impulse was given to the tourist development of the locality with the construction of the first establishments for heliotherapy treatments.

The constant growth of the 1930s was however interrupted by the outbreak of World War II, but resumed considerably in the 1950s and 1960s with the construction of countless structures along the coast. In those years Jesolo became one of the most sought-after seaside resorts by celebrities of the moment, because it combined the tranquillity of the beach with the worldliness of the long promenade by the sea and the glamour of the dance clubs.

Today the city is no longer just a destination for celebrities, but boasts a wide range of entertainment and relaxation, appreciated every year by more than 5 million vacationers, housed in the 80,000 beds in the town distributed among 450 hotels, over 15,000 villas and apartments and 7 campsites located in Jesolo Lido, in the pine forest or facing the sea.

Beaches nearby: Cavallino

A pleasant alternative to the lively beach of Jesolo is the nearby and quiet beach of Cavallino, which also has equipped bathing establishments, but especially loved for its numerous free areas, where you can spend a day at the beach without booking and for free.

The beach on which Camping Ca’Savio overlooks for a length of about 800 m is just like that: a wide beach of fine golden sand, free and free that slopes gently towards the quiet and shallow Adriatic Sea. Here children can run and play in complete freedom, you can do yoga at sunrise or long walks at sunset and at night you can admire a fantastic starry sky.

In the background, the characteristic dunes protect the seafront and host rare plant and animal species, including the Fratino: a natural environment of inestimable value, which Camping Ca’Savio has been committed to preserving for years, the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday immersed in in nature.
