The Experience Lab is a new space within Camping Ca’Savio. Visit it to embark on a journey of discovery, exploring the local area, its history and nature through your senses. As you explore, you’ll follow an interactive trail combining immersive experiences with technology to spark your curiosity and provide inspiration for excursions in the Cavallino-Treporti area and beyond.
Through captivating projections, sounds, vivid images, and interactive games, you’ll uncover the enchanting charm of the Venice lagoon and learn about the delicate balance of its ecosystem.

Inside the Experience Lab, you’re not just a spectator: beyond watching projections and images or listening to dialogue, animal calls, and sounds, you can touch objects and surfaces, interact with tools, play quizzes, and enjoy a journey filled with emotions and memories to take with you.

The deep connection with the landscape
Digital maps and audiovisual storytelling encourage you to step outside the campsite and explore the Venetian lagoon and the Cavallino-Treporti area. It’s an extraordinary system rich in culture, stories, landscapes, and biodiversity, which you can discover by water—renting a kayak or a small boat to cross the silent canals—or by land, on foot along recommended routes, or by bike, using your own or those available at the campsite.
The Never-ending Cycle of Water
In the Experience Lab, you will rediscover the vital role of water. From the Alps to the lagoon, through touchscreens and animated installations, you can follow its continuous flow, which renews and transforms this land between earth and sea, balanced between fresh and salt water.
The richness of the lagoon
What lies among the salt marshes, tidal creeks, and canals? Through visual reconstructions and immersive soundscapes, you can delve into one of the most fascinating ecosystems of the Mediterranean, experiencing firsthand objects and materials that tell the lagoon’s life in its most authentic and natural form.
Perspectives of Venice
Sit down and imagine observing Venice from a gondola gliding slowly over the water, traveling through canals and passing under bridges, surrounded by the city’s colors and sounds. A way to immerse yourself in the landscape and discover Venice from a new, intimate, and personal perspective.
