STEPPING STONE

Reception

The reception is more than just a functional building, it’s the first encounter with  the campsite’s dna. Thoughtfully designed to make you feel welcome and in tune with the surrounding landscape, it reflects our approach to hospitality: warm, open, and rooted in nature.

An Emblematic Building

This building marks the first step in a broader transformation across the entire campsite. Its design is rooted in the pursuit of a harmonious relationship between people and nature.

A space in tune with its surroundings

The open-plan architecture, supported by slender pilotis, creates a fluid, welcoming space for check-in, check-out, and guest services, filled with natural light and shaped by the landscape itself.

Glass as a symbol of welcome

Floor-to-ceiling glass walls, open on multiple sides, make the reception fully transparent and inviting. There are no visual barriers, just a soft transition that guides guests inside, without ever fully separating them from the outdoors.

Wood as a living material

The untreated wood cladding creates a natural texture that resonates with the pine trunks around it. Wood, by its nature, evolves with time, gradually shifting in tone and echoing the changing colours of the forest.

A small outdoor square

Right next to the reception is a small open plaza overlooking greenery and treetops, with a café and outdoor tables, perfect for a coffee, an ice cream, or simply soaking in the holiday atmosphere.

“Home is the place where, when you go there, they have to take you in.”

Robert Frost
