How to get to Venice from Camping Ca’Savio

Make your way to the port of Punta Sabbioni (about 5 km far from the campsite) from where you can take a direct ferry to Venice every half an hour (minutes 00 and 30). 

The 40-minutes journey takes you past the beautiful “Giardini della Biennale” gardens, across St Mark’s wide basin with St George’s Island on the far left, and drops you just a short walk from the Doge’s Palace.

How to reach Punta Sabbioni from the campsite

There are three ways to get from Camping Ca’ Savio to Punta Sabbioni:

1. By bus
The bus stop is in the centre of Ca’ Savio, near the pharmacy and a few metres from the main crossroads.
It takes just 10 minutes to walk there from the campsite.

2. By bicycle
Ride along Via di Ca’Savio to the roundabout, then turn left and ride down Via Fausta towards Punta Sabbioni.
A cycle path will lead you to the wharf.

3. By car
Drive along Via di Ca’Savio and turn left into Via Brenta. Go along the street and turn right into Via Tagliamento. At the junction with Via Fausta, turn left towards Punta Sabbioni.
You can leave your car in the paying car park near the Punta Sabbioni wharf.

Tickets

If you are moving by bus, you can buy tickets directly from the campsite’s Customer Care office.

  • Children up to the age of 6 travel free of charge
  • Return ticket for bus + motorship: 25 €
  • 24h ticket for bus + ship + water buses: 31 €.


If you would prefer to drive or cycle to the port of Punta Sabbioni, you will need to purchase a ferry ticket from the ACTV ticket office in Punta Sabbioni.

  • One-way ticket: 9.50 €.

Organized excursion

If you’d prefer a ready-made option, you can join organised boat trips departing from Ca’Savio or Punta Sabbioni. This is a convenient way to reach Venice and the main islands of the lagoon without having to worry about timetables or tickets.
