{"id":7470,"date":"2019-11-27T09:38:20","date_gmt":"2019-11-27T08:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casavio.com\/surroundings\/venice-and-the-islands\/come-raggiungere-venezia\/"},"modified":"2023-11-29T11:37:09","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T10:37:09","slug":"how-to-get-to-venice","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.casavio.com\/en\/surroundings\/venice-and-the-islands\/how-to-get-to-venice\/","title":{"rendered":"How to get to Venice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Make your way to <strong>Punta Sabbioni<\/strong> (about <strong>5 km <\/strong>far from the campsite) from where you can take a ferry to Venice every half an hour <span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"nl\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"nl\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"da\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">(minutes 00 and 30).<\/span><\/span> The journey takes about 40 minutes and takes you past the nice gardens of \u201cGiardini della Biennale\u201d, across St Mark&#8217;s wide basin with St George&#8217;s Island on the far left, and drops you just a short walk from the Doge&#8217;s Palace.<\/p>\n<p>From Camping Ca\u2019 Savio you can get to Punta Sabbioni:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>by bus<\/strong>: the bus stop is in the centre of Ca&#8217; Savio, a few metres from the main crossroads, and it takes just 10 minutes to walk there;<\/li>\n<li><strong>by bicycle<\/strong>: ride along Via di Ca&#8217; Savio to roundabout, then turn left and ride down Via Fausta towards Punta Sabbioni. A cycle path leads you to the wharf;<\/li>\n<li><strong>by car<\/strong>: drive along Via di Ca\u2019 Savio and turn left in Via Brenta. Go along the street and turn right in Via Tagliamento and at the junction with via Fausta turn left in direction of Punta Sabbioni.
