Covid-19: all the frequently asked questions about bookings and our answers

At Camping Ca’Savio we are closely following all developments regarding the corona virus (COVID-19).
We are currently receiving many questions about the consequences for holidays that are already booked. We share your concerns and that is why we have listed these Questions & Answers for you.

Does the area of Cavallino-Treporti have a negative travel advice?

As you know, Cavallino-Treporti is an area located in Veneto, in the north east of Italy. As a result of the current situation some countries have issued negative travel advices for Italy.
We advise, to regularly check with your national foreign affair office, to see what the most updated advice at the time of your travel.

Can I travel from another country?

Due to Covid-19, many European countries have closed their borders and have imposed restriction to their citizens who are travelling, therefore, we advise you to check with your national foreign office to see what the most up to date situation regarding your country, and the countries you intend to travel through.

What does a new opening date mean for me?

Changing the opening date means that you can postpone the holiday free of charge, just contact our booking office, or in case a change of date is not possible for you and you have to cancel your holiday, we refund you the deposit already paid. If your arrival is after than the new opening date, nothing will change for you.

Can I amend my holiday free of charge?

Yes, you can always amend your reservation before arrival, by getting in touch with our booking office.
You can change the number of people, within the maximum capacity of accommodation/pitch, add or remove extra services, and change both type of accommodation/pitch and holiday dates, always according with availability.
We are not charging any fee for amendments and the difference in costs might be due to difference in prices related to new dates, accommodation and services provided.

Can I move my holiday to 2021?

Yes. If you would like to move your reservation to 2021, our booking office will transfer the arrival/departure dates, accommodation type and deposit already paid for the reservation 2020 into a pre-booking for next season 2021.

If I move my holiday to 2021, can I keep also the early-booking discount?

Yes, If you are not coming on holiday and decide to move the reservation from 2020, with the already applied early-booking discount, into a new pre-booking for 2021, you can keep the same percentage of discount.

In case of change of the opening date of the campsite, what happen if my arrival date is prior to new opening date?

If you can’t postpone and move your booking to another period of the season, your reservation will be cancelled by the campsite, the deposit already paid will be fully refunded and no cancellation fee will be applied.

Can I cancel my holiday free of charge?

You can cancel your booking within 30 days before your arrival and the 30% deposit already paid will be refund. The direction will deduct the amount of 20,00€ from the deposit paid as costs for the return.

When I have to pay the balance for my holiday?

We don’t require the payment of the balance before the arrival. You can pay the balance at the cash desk of the campsite, during your stay.
The only advance payment is the deposit of 30 % on the total amount of the holiday, required within three weeks from your booking date.

What does it happen in case of no-show?

In case of no-show on the arrival day, the booking will be immediately cancelled and Camping Ca’Savio will retain the amount of the deposit already paid and no other payment or penalty will be charged to the guest.

Do I have to pay a cleaning deposit?

The cleaning is a mandatory service always listed and charged when you book an accommodation.
As Camping Ca’Savio we have always believed that the cleaning of the accommodation is extremely important and therefore a dedicated and trained staff provide to clean accommodation before your arrival and after your departure.
We are now reviewing our cleaning procedure to be updated and compliant with latest guidelines.
