Water, wood and stone
A short boat ride from Ca’Savio, the island of Sant’Erasmo is a peaceful oasis in the green heart of the Venice Lagoon, a place where nature, history and tradition merge in a surprising way.
With a short boat ride from Treporti (about 20 minutes) you will arrive at the Island of S. Erasmo, known as the vegetable garden of Venice, Sant’Erasmo is a living mosaic of vineyards, salt fields and purple artichoke crops, shaped by centuries of harmony between land and water.
Here, away from the usual routes, you can explore the island on foot or rent a bicycle, to cycle along quiet paths, breathe the lagoon air and explore the rhythms of a slower lifestyle.
At S. Erasmo you will meet Silvia, founder of Experientia, who with her tasting menu prepared with seasonal and organic ingredients from the island’s farmers, will invite you to savor the essence of this place.
Each dish tells a story of care, community and spirit of the lagoon. It is not just a lunch, but a sensory journey into the flavors and traditions of Sant’Erasmo.
