Only Darkness Lets the Stars Reappear. Light pollution often hides the stars from our view. That’s why our beach is intentionally kept free of artificial lighting—to invite you to look up, to spot constellations, shooting stars in August, or simply to enjoy the quiet of the night under a truly dark sky.
On a clear, moonless night, you can see up to 3,000 stars from here. And in August, you might catch the Perseids—shooting stars streaking across the sky. A special moment to be amazed… and maybe make a wish.
If you live in a city with light pollution, you might normally see no more than 50 stars – or sometimes none at all. Seeing a sky full of stars here can be a truly moving experience, one we hope will stay with you long after your holiday ends.
Light pollution is having an increasing impact on our environment. Its negative effects are seen not only in humans – where artificial light can disrupt sleep—but also in nature, where too much lighting affects animal behaviour, both at night and during the day.
Spending time under a dark, starry sky – away from screens and artificial lights—offers a moment of calm. It’s an opportunity to listen, to reconnect with nature, and to be present with yourself.
Stargazing is a magical moment to enjoy with those you love most – lying on a towel in the sand, quietly chatting or simply soaking in the silence. It’s a simple yet profound experience that brings people closer and stirs deep emotions.
