Once a week you can visit the farmer’s market in the center of Ca’Savio, where you can buy vegetables as tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, salads grown in Cavallino-Treporti and freshly picked from the farmers’ fields.
The markets on Tuesday in Cavallino and on Thursday in Treporti are popular among tourists and residents and you can find a lot of different products, from food to clothes…
Both markets can be reached by bus or by bicycle, take the cycle path on Via Fausta to Cavallino or the other on Via Treportina until the center of Treporti and further to the little harbor of Ricevitoria, to enjoy a beautiful view of the lagoon.
Shopping in Venice and Murano
If you would like to do some shopping you can reach Venice by boat and from St. Mark’s square you can walk through the Clock Tower and along Calle Mercerie untill Rialto. Walking under the ancient arcade of the palaces surrounding st. Mark’s Square and passing through Salita S. Moise and Calle Larga XXIII Marzo you will find shops of the most famous Italian fashion brands, or jeweller’s shops and art galleries and antique dealers.
In the glass factory of Murano you can admire and buy unique glass creations handmade by Glass Master: vases, sculptures and chandeliers, or small object and jewels with glass and “murrine”.
Jesolo and surroundings
If you prefer somewhere closer by, go to Jesolo Lido and go for a walk along the pedestrian walkway in via Bafile, you can catch a bus that leaves from Ca’Savio every half an hour or go by car.
If you are nearby the exit of the motorway A4 of S. Donà di Piave driving back home, you can stop at the Outlet of Noventa di Piave to end your holiday with a little bit of shopping.
