Kayak through the Venice lagoon

Silent, ecological and fun, kayaking is a very special way to discover the unique ecosystem of the Venice lagoon in a beautiful way. Only by kayak can you glide through the sandbanks and shallow waters, watch aquatic birds up close, discover the colours and scents of lagoon plants and admire the sunset reflections while paddling. An unforgettable experience that everyone can enjoy, no matter the physical state or level of experience.

Here are some tips for you.

If you love adventure…

You can rent a kayak and enjoy outdoor sports, discovering hidden spots in the lagoon, far from the tourist routes. For an outing with friends we recommend a shared kayak, fun is guaranteed! And, if you wish, you can stop at one of the many farmhouses you will come across along the way for a delightful break.

If you are not so experienced…

The sunset tour is an easy excursion suitable for everyone. Before setting off, a guide will teach you how to paddle safely and then accompany you to discover the lagoon valleys of Cavallino for about 1½ hours. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture breathtaking landscapes.

If you are looking for something more…

The kayak tour in Lio Piccolo – ‘Le Saline’ offers you the chance to discover an enchanting corner of the lagoon, rich in history and traditions. An expert guide will accompany you along the banks of the ancient salt pans, surrounded by unspoilt nature. The tour lasts about 2.5 hours and the meeting point is at ‘Agriturismo Le Saline’, Via della Sparesea, 4, Lio Piccolo, where you can also taste their products.
