The Islands of the Lagoon

To all our guests, we recommend a trip to Murano, the island known the world over for its Venetian glass, Burano, famous for its characteristic coloured houses and for its lace making, and Torcello, home to a number of impressive buildings that stand as testimony to the island's origins as an ancient settlement.


How to get to the Islands

The Treporti wharf (roughly 5 km from the campsite)
From here, you can reach the following islands: Vignole - Sant'Erasmo, Burano - Mazzorbo - Murano.

You can reach the wharf by bicycle, by car or by bus.

Route:

By car or by bike, ride along Via di Ca'Savio to the very end, cross the Treporti bridge and follow signs for "Ricevitoria".
Alternatively, you can take the bus, which leaves from the parking area outside the campsite.

Tickets:

You can buy tickets direct from the campsite's customer care office.
Children up to the age of 4 travel free of charge.
24h ticket for bus+motorship+water buses: 24 €.

If you prefer to take your own car to the wharf, or cycle there, you will need to buy the ticket for the motorship from the ACTV ticket office in Punta Sabbioni itself.
One-way ticket: 7.00 €.
