Good habits even on holiday…

Water is a precious resource, so don’t waste a single drop: turn off the tap while brushing your teeth or washing dishes, only run the washing machine when it is full, and let us know immediately if you notice a water leak at the campsite.

Choose to drink tap water, which is safe and drinkable, or fill your bottle at the dispensers, so you reduce the consumption of single-use plastic.

If you are staying on a pitch and want to use the air conditioning in your motorhome or caravan on hot days, check before you leave that it is efficient and quiet, and only use it with the windows closed and when you are inside the motorhome/caravan. In this way, you will not waste energy or disturb your neighbours.

In your accommodation, turn off the lights and air conditioning when unnecessary or enjoy the cool air on the veranda.

Finally, get around the campsite on foot or by bicycle: it is fun, eco-friendly and quiet.

Many simple actions can make a big difference.

Increased and proper waste sorting allows more efficient recycling and transforms waste into a resource, that’s why your involvement is so important.

You will find special bins for waste sorting at the campsite and on the beach.

The campsite map shows the recycling points and below here is a mini guide to recycling, so you will always know where the nearest point is and which bin to use.

The warm summer season, the lagoon environment and the natural surroundings bring mosquitoes that can be annoying, especially for those who are more sensible. Therefore, once a week during the evening hours, treatment against mosquitoes is carried out (approximately from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.). The product used is environmentally friendly and does not harm the health of persons. We inform guests by information displayed on the notice boards and by a loudspeaker message on the same day. The reception staff is available for any further details.

We have chosen not to accept guests travelling with animals as we are not adequately equipped to welcome them in the best way and offer everyone a pleasant holiday. However, at the campsite you will meet the typical animals of this natural environment: you can see many different species of birds in the pinewood, spot squirrels, hear the croaking of frogs, the buzzing of bees and pollinators on the flowers…

During the bathing season, as settled by the Commander of the Port, a lifeguard and assistance service is available on the beach every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the peak season, the service is provided from 9.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

We remind you that:

  • The red flag located by the safety towers indicates that the weather/sea conditions are dangerous for bathing and/or that the specific rescue service is not being provided
  • The yellow flag indicates that the rescue service is provided as usual, but the weather and sea conditions are potentially hazardous.
  • The green flag indicates that the rescue service is provided as usual and the weather and sea conditions are favourable.

It is not allowed to dive from the rocks and the breakwaters, to swim at night, during storms and when the sea is rough.

In addition, to guarantee safety and respect for people and the natural environment, on the beach it is forbidden to dig holes and leaving them open, light fires, use any flammable or polluting products, dispose or abandon waste on the sand or in the sea. Please, always use the recycling bins provided as follows: paper/cardboard, glass/plastic/cans, dry refuse, organic.

The campsite offers two outdoor swimming pools, both with deeper pools for adults (120/140 cm) as well as shallower pools perfect for children (30/50 cm).

The pools located near the restaurant are larger and sunnier. They are open throughout the entire season and include a fun water play area.

The pool area set among the pine trees offers a more shaded and relaxing atmosphere. It is open from the end of May until the beginning of September, and this is where aqua gym sessions and other activities are often organized.

Both pool areas provide lifeguard assistance and are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Opening times timings can change according to weather conditions and season.

For your safety, please always follow the rules displayed at the entrance of the pools, and remember that children must be accompanied and supervised by their parents at all times.

The sickroom, located near the reception, is open from mid-May to mid-September from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Please note that opening hours are indicative and may vary during the season. In addition, from June to the end of August, a medical service, provided by a private doctor (on payment), is available onsite on a schedule that is published at the Customer Care office.

In the center of Ca’Savio, at about 1,5 km from the campsite, there is also a First Aid point for emergencies opened 24h a day from May to September and from October to April on reduced hours.

On arrival day the accommodation will be ready at 6 p.m. If you arrive early, you can immediately check-in at the reception and then go to the beach, to the swimming pool and use all campsite facilities.

On departure day the accommodation is available for you until 9 a.m. Before returning your keys and air conditioning card to reception, please make sure your accommodation is tidy and in the same condition as when you arrived. Therefore, we remind you to wash the dishes, empty the refrigerator, and dispose of all waste in the appropriate bins located in the recycling areas around the campsite. Our cleaning staff will be grateful for your cooperation and respect.

The number of people who are staying in the accommodation can’t exceed its maximum capacity.
